Copper Water-Pipe Repair

Featured Replies

Anybody knows a shop/contractor that can do copper welding / joining &/or sells supplies to fix existing copper water system? Location Central Pattaya.

Thank you all. MS>

An air conditioner installer can do that.

Hardware House, Ban Amphur, on Sukhumvit road, about 1km south of Ambassador City Hotel, has copper pipe and joints. Not sure about the sizes, but looks like 8mm (maybe 10mm) and 15mm pipe. Also, solder and flux.

Located on the right hand side of the store a few aisles past the paint.

I expect the Hardware House on Highway 36 has the same or better range.

Edit to add - I only saw solder fittings, not compression joints, but I wasn't looking closely.

My solar powered water heater is piped in 22mm copper pipe braised to a galvanised steel pipe in the roof structure, the steel pipe developed a pinhole leak on the welded seam. I was unable to find 22mm compression fittings anywhere pattaya got a mate to bting one over from ebay uk in the meantime put two jubilee clips over hole with a piece on m/c innertube to make a seal.maybe of help to someone!
