Some great photos, however for many I'd really like to see a higher resolution than the max 1024 width that they are limited to.

Have a look here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/612786-panoramas-anyone/page-5#entry9179114

By uploading to Photobucket, you can post a reduced-sized image and/or a thumbnail.

Then click on the Photobucket thumbnail, click on the top right icon (labelled "View Image"), and then enter "Cntl +" to enlarge the image.

- a tad long winded, but it works! smile.png

OR

Upload to Flickr, as done here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/612786-panoramas-anyone/page-5#entry9158358

A pity the forum software can't do what Flickr does. It's rather good - automatic horizontal and vertical scrolling.

Or...

you could copy what mrhitchens did in post #110 here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/612786-panoramas-anyone/page-5#entry9158358.

1. upload the image to Flickr

2. get the "Share" URL of the image from Flickr (in this case: "https://flic.kr/p/wp453e")

3. get the image URL from your browser (in this case: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/525/19951581369_1168f6ecab_h.jpg, in Firefox, it's in "Tools/Page Info/Media tab")

4. join them all together as in my post below:

[ u r l = Share URL from Flickr ][ i m g = image URL from browser ][ / u r l ] (remove spaces from keywords)

Like this:

19951581369_1168f6ecab_h.jpg

So your image gets displayed on this forum as a smaller image from Flickr, but the image itself is a link to the Flickr image where you can view it full size.

This photo would have been much better without the person in it. Just my opinion.

Actually, I think having the person in the photo adds another level of interest to the image instead of making it just a postcard shot. Very nice image! Well done.

I do hope that this arrives for your review!

Between the internet and not being familiar with the site I am struggling.

For example, file is attached, but where is the submit button?? :)

Thank you.

Fully agree, the person is essential and brings volume to the space. The upper body pointing in the direction of the light rays adds another touch of grace. Beautiful composition.

Totally disagree. The person lends scale to a view that you would otherwise have no concept of size. Also lends a human touch and therefore a relationship is formed to the place giving a context. Totally necessary IMHO smile.png
