BANGKOK: -- A Turkish Airlines flight departing from Bangkok was forced to make an emergency landing yesterday after a written bomb threat was found aboard the plane.

The Instanbul-bound flight was carrying 134 passengers when the note was found in a toilet several hours after takeoff and the pilot requested an emergency landing while over Indian airspace, the airline said.

The Airbus A330 subsequently landed in New Delhi.

Candidate for the "worst headline of the year"....

It may not be the aircraft on the picture that was involved in the incident. I think the important news is the bomb treat not the kind of aircraft.

What, they didn't use those bomb detectors touted by the forensic doc and generals in Thailand?

Candidate for the "worst headline of the year"....

Yeah, let's look at that. The sensationalist, awful, headline: Flight from Bangkok diverted after "bomb threat".

But the story only tells us there was a flight form Bangkok, and it diverted after a bomb threat.

What were those headline writers thinking???
