Hi guys

When u used to live on Chiang Mai I had a mate who used to tell me about this outlet shopping complex a short drive out of Chiang Mai. Apparently it was where factories are (Nike, lacoste, Ben sherman ) and they had shops there for quite a discount. I think I remember him saying that once a year they had this massive blowout or perhaps he only went there once a year...does anyone know what/where I'm talking about?

Lamphun Industrial estate. The sale is held on their runway.

It was a complete waste of time when I went there,whole load rubbish,

overcrowded,not easy to park, I believe if you head down the Super

Highway,there are several Export shops,which might be better?,

Lamphun. Depends on which sale. We go to them all as the wife conducts business at them. But we won't be going to the sport clothing one anymore. Complete waste of time.

Outlet shops are all over Lamphun however.

A new complex is being built next to the Kad Farang/McDonalds on hwy 108. From one of the signs I saw, it mentioned some outlet stores.

I honestly can't because brand names mean nothing to me. Certainly there is Nike, Pierre Cardin, and dozens of European designer brands that you would find on the shelves in Europe, America, etc. There are ladies purses that cost a small fortune that can be had for 4-8K Baht. The best sale is held once a year. You need to do a search in Thai language to see when it is. But if you don't get there at 7:30 A.M.; you're too late.
