Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 LTE

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can get this product (Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 LTE), I have seen it advertised in Lazda as an import for 25k without a warranty, can it be bought more cheaply with a warranty? Secondly can it be bought in Thailand in the 64gb internal memory version as opposed to the more commonly found 32gb.? Thanks in advance!

sorry i cannot help with your actual question

but i can advise beware of buying from lazada ANYTHING that requires import /no warranty you will end up with a long wait /delivery time

and why spend good money on a no warrant item even if it had warranty L will will give you runaround big style

oh !!! it needs to be exported for repai/replacement

Usually if it needs to be imported, it's not sold in Thailand. Samsung Thailand only supports products sold in Thailand.

Be aware that the Samsung Repair Center in Thailand can't it bit if it goes bad. My 12.2 Galaxy Note Pro (no LTE) stopped connecting to the Internet after about six months.

Continuing on... I brought it back to Japan where they replaced it since it was under the manufacturer's one-year warranty. I'm using the replacement now but have bought a three-year warranty on it for $129.00. It's a nice machine but it's not upgradeable beyond Kitkat 4.4.2- or at least Samsung hasn't done it yet. I'd be careful of buying it wthout a warranty. BTW, Samsung doesn't make them any more. IMHO, their present line of mid-level tablets isn't nearly as good as this model.

Sorry. The first post should have said "can't fix it."

I went round Central Lad Phro today looking for the above and to no avail so I will give it a try in the various electronic centres, Zeer, MBK, as stated by Dog 1, it is the best Tablet on the market, all the others at 14-17k seem hardly worth spending money on to replace my existing Galaxy Note 10.1 2 with, as they are all relatively the same size. The only advantage they seem to have is that they are a little lighter ad a trifle sharper visually.

A quick review seems to indicate that Samsung Thailand never introduced this version (Tab Pro 12.2) for the Thai market, so I suspect that you'll only be able to find grey-market imports (which traditionally do not come with local warranties).

I think the Note Pro 12.2 with 32 GB and 3G (no LTE) was introduced here by Samsung Thailand, so available with a local warranty, wholesale looks like ~ 18,600.

There is also a local version of the Tab S 10.5 with 16 GB and LTE (and 3G of course), ~ 15,500, and a local warranty. This is a very nice looking tablet, just waiting for it to get closer to 12,000.

I am really tempted to go for the 3.G version and save myself 7k as I doubt that 4G will be prevalent here for years, especially as they don't even really have 3G yet. I shall take a wander around MBK and see what they have.

Have a look here mirakar.com you can search for prices in MBK there's not a lot of 12.2s around there but if you look near the computer shop side of the floor you'll find a few around 17/18,000 baht.
