Has anyone had luck with these guys?

I used it once, since they claimed to have metered taxis. After booking via the app, I receive a phone call 15mins later to negotiate a fare. We agree on 250฿ for a 10km trip. When the taxi arrives there is clearly no meter, despite "Meter Taxi" being stenciled on the exterior.

Upon (re)reading the app instructions, it appears the metering is to be done within the app, which conveniently resets itself when dispatch calls to negotiate a fare.

Any experiences with this or similar services? Looking for a reliable transport solution for when I'm too hosed to drive or have to take the bike to the shop. I live in the NW part of CM near Nongfluk Restaraunt (Convention Center) so there's rarely any songthaew or tuks passing, even on Canal Rd.

never heard of it but the concept is brilliant especially if it is transparent and honest.

That's exactly the issue though, my experience was not transparent or honest.

"Transparent or honest" taxi: no have.
