Sorry no zoom on my phone, but it is in center of the picture.

I am guessing it is that lime green squiggle in the center of the picture but there is not enough detail for a definitive identification in my opinion.

Thanks, I see it now. It's almost yellow/green to me. Dead center and a squiggle.

i am going to see my eye surgeon and file a complaint. had cataract surgery 4 weeks ago, selected the most expensive multi-focal lenses but ah don't sees no snake nowhere!

Here is the cropped picture. It is very aggressive and tried to bite the stick i was using to get a better picture.

Now that i can see the head it is one of the pit viper family, but there are many different types of this green snake from mildly venomous to deadly, need to look close at the front of the head, best avoided.

Anyone in any doubt as to the reality of snakes should listen to what the World Health Organisation has to say. "A recent study estimates that at least 421,000 envenomings and 20,000 deaths occur worldwide from snakebite each year, but warns that these figures may be as high as 1,841,000 envenomings and 94,000 deaths. The highest burden of snakebites is in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa".
