Taxi Closing Time At Phuket Airport

Apologies; this is my second post for the same topic.

I land in Phuket at 8:00pm from Dubai.

Assuming about an hour to clear immigration and customs, will the meter taxi stand be open at about 9:00pm? Going to Nai Harn.

Thanks for information.

Yes, will still be open, it will close later in the night.

Sanyone know exactly how late.....it's a pretty important fact.

It's been a couple of years since I flew in late to Phuket. About 23,50. Taxi driver told us he was the last taxi of the night. No other meter taxis drivers coming out to the airport.

But I expect (??) the airport taxis (so called limos) will be available after mid-night and into the wee small hours.

The airport is open 24/7, mainly flights to/from China. The limos operate all night. The taximeters usually seem to stop after the last flight arrives from Chiang Mai (01.00am).

I can second Big Mango, nearly the same time I caught a cab a week ago and there were plenty of drivers waiting.

Don't worry. Relaxe and order your taxi.
