Fastest way to get my son to the UK?

Hi,

OK finally got to the embassy today as his mother didn't show up until this morning. They decided that an Emergency Travel Document (ETD) was the way to go but I have to book the flights first. The witch had to sign a consent form and they photocopied her ID card. They said once I have the flights, birth certificate, his expired passport, and my current one they could issue one the same day. Submit 8-11AM collect 2PM onwards.

Thanks again everyone,

HEX.

You will probably find it is quicker to get a new UK passport or a UK Visa rather than waiting for any assistance from the British Embassy, they are completely useless, they do not provide their citiz

  • Yes he can, all he needs to enter England is proof of citizenship, an expired passport works fine for that.
