NRC believes adjustments being made to draft charter are leading to a better version of the new Constitution

BANGKOK, 2 August 2015 (NNT) - One of the National Reform Council members believes that all suggested adjustments being made to the draft charter will lead to a better version of the new Constitution.

NRC member Poldej Pinprateep said that while he has not seen all adjustment proposals for the draft Constitution, what he has learnt from media reports made him feel that the draft has been much improved.

The reason he feels so is that it appears that many of the proposed changes from the NRC have been taken into consideration.

In addition, Mr. Poldej said that he agrees with the Constitution Drafting Committee’s decision to shorten parts of the section related to the reform process and write an organic law with those removed parts while calling for similar actions for other sections of the draft charter so that the new Constitution will be concise and precise.
