MH370: Part Found On Reunion Island Is From Missing Plane

Featured Replies

So when is the prediction of debris washing ashore Madagascar ? Swaziland? South Africa ?

Swaziland?

That ain't going to happen, it's a land-locked country.

Mauritius seems like a good possibility as it's not far from Reunion. I think that some sort of a search is already in progress there but nothing has turned up, so far.

The French investigators have stated, via the BBC yesterday, that although this "flaperon" is from

a 777 it has yet to be proven that it is from MH370 and they (French investigators) advise against

any further speculation concerning it is definitely from MH370 untill 100% proven it is.

Feel free to check the BBC website for more info if you desire.

That said...How many 777's have gone down in the I. O.? None that have been reported save for

MH 370. We have a bit of a conundrum here at the moment it seems.

Crash debris, even the metal bits & especially the metal bits which are hollow, may not sink

completely to the bottom. They may find a neutral bouyancy at any depth. Plastic bits may

not always float on the surface either. They can "float" at any depth. Many divers, both sport

& commercial, know this. The proverbial plastic bag fish or the plastic bottle fish etc...etc.

What is known at this moment is that the Chinese, both government officials & relatives of

the victims...and especially the relatives...do not believe one word that is originating out of

Malaysia.as the Malaysians have lied about this sordid affair right from the beginning.

And I for one....cannot blame them.

First, I believe that it's more than likely the part is exactly what people think it is... a flaperon from MH370. But what I believe isn't necessarily the truth.

Who's to say the Malaysian government (or other entity) didn't take a spare 777 flaperon out of spare parts stock, pry off the serial number plate and toss it into the sea to be found and declared as definitive evidence that the plane is down, the case is closed, and the settlements need to be done and dusted?

Doubtful? Sure.

Possible? Unfortunately, yes.

For what purpose? I haven't a clue.
