looking for parasitic infections doctor

Featured Replies

duz anybody know a doctor who treats parasitic infections? in Chiang Mai

thank you

If it's on/in the skin, there is a skin specialist near Thae Pai Gate.

For internal, sorry no ideas.

Hospitals .... I'd say....just ask to see a doctor...do blood tests and/or stool ...

If its a simple ascaris infection you can take abendazole.400mg for three days and repeat in a week....no big deal.

Yeah, it sounds like he knows exactly what he has....time to talk to a good Pharmacist, they're many of them here, a benefit of being so close to a School of Pharmacy. For 500-1000 THB you could probably consult with a physician at RAM, Mccormick outpatient clinics....or 6-10 others.

Dr. Nick Walters at Mission Hopital specializes in tropical medicne, if you think that subject covers your question.

He is knowlegeable, careful, compassonate, devoted, native English speaker-----I cannot say enough good things about him.

He is an internist also, and maybre something else.
