Just read in the newspaper not to be named or quoted that the National Police chief transferred 5 high ranking Chiang Mai policemen to the Bangkok head office.

Reason given: negligence of the order given on 22th July and allowing bars (entertainment venues) to be open near Chiang Mai University.

If those at the top are so worried about the welfare of adult university students, maybe they should start checking them as they stream onto the highway on their motorbikes.

I doubt that 50% use a helmet.
