Anybody knows a shop (not market) which sells the colourful fabrics and bands (material) for hilltribe dresses (Lahu, Lisu etc.), not the complete dresses.

There is a shop in the back of Warorot (soi opposite CHiang Mai Plastic ) that has the Lisu applique band fabric in rolls. Can't remember name offhand, halfway down on right . Carry on down the soi and turn right and there is a shop that sells fabric for Hmong.

However the hilltribe textiles nowadays are a completely different standard to years back. Its like comparing handmade Paris couture to Primark. It seriously makes you weep if you are a textile aficionado.
