Neither did I, but I did come for the ladies, and have been with mine now for about ten years.

The local women had nothing to do with why I came here, and I've never got involved with them in any way.

My first visit to Thailand was in 1988. Some friends of a friend in Berkeley, CA ran a crafts store and invited me to go with them to Thailand and Koh Samui on one of their buying trips. We got separated as my visa was late in coming so I ended up spending 2 weeks by myself alone on Koh Samui. No girls.

At first, it was the draw of the girls..but that wore out very fast. Nothing seemed genuine...they dressed in sexy outfits that nobody elsewhere wore, and called me handsome (nobody else ever thought so). They were quick to take money...and quicker to leave. None ever loved me, nor I them.

Nope - came with a Thai gal friend......Found CM to be to my liking and friendly with enough services geared towards expats to feel comfortable - fell in love with the friendly Thai manner and interesting way they approach things....

Married a Thai gal and all is doing fine - good family - educated - no weird requests......Just a happy life....
