Tot removed those transit and peering points

1. AS10026 Telstra (SG) 5.5 Gbps.
2. AS7018 AT&T (US) 10 Gbps.
3. AS1239 Sprint (US) 10 Gbps.
4. AS174 COGENT (US) 10 Gbps.
5. AS19996 Any2Coresite (US) 10 Gbps.
6. AS3257 GTT 3.5 Gbps.
7. AS3491 PCCW 3 Gbps.
8. AS4766 Korea Telecom 2.5 Gbps.
9. AS7473 SingTel 2 Gbps.
10. AS1273 Vodafone 300 Mbps.
11. AS3320 DTAG 300 Mbps.
12. AS5511 France Telecom 300 Mbps.
13. AS6830 UPC Broadband 300 Mbps.
14. AS15169 Google (SG) 10 Gbps.
15. AS8714 LINX (UK) 10 Gbps.
16. AS1299 TeliaSonera (UK) 3.5 Gbps.
17. AS6762 Telecom Italia (UK) 5.3 Gbps.
18. AS2914 NTT (US) 14 Gbps.
19. AS8075 Microsoft (US) 1 Gbps.

Any2coresite was performing very good (especially west side destinations) and it was free peering.

Removal of Linx (UK peering) is the single most stupid move by TOT.

Not only linx, but removal of telecom italia / gtt transit will make EU connections suffer more.

Also several US transits removed.

They have added some other connections, but they reduced their IP transit. They increased google peering from 27.5gbit to 120gbit to make it look like an overall increase, not decrease lol.

If you're getting higher pings to EU, that could be the reason.

I wonder how much worse they can manage an Internet service provider?

Did a few pings to Germany (230 to 240 ms).

Did run ICSINetalyzer (Berkeley).

No noticable difference to previous testruns.

Ping to westcoast quite long with 330 ms (but was not better in the past).

(ToT fibre)

Telecom Italia (SG pop) and Telia Soneara (SG pop) is still working good then.

I wish they upgrade fiber capacity to Singapore location.
