Does anyone have experience registering a business for eCustoms in Thailand?

What are the advantages, and are there any disadvantages?

The company I work for is going to be importing some reasonably expensive electronic items for resale (about £500/item). The duty on these items is 30% + the VAT. I want to understand the import process and leave as little room for erronous/additional duties and charges being applied as possible.
