Looking for one a day B 12 methylcobalamin tablets, but not sure where to find them in Thailand or a reputable place that ships them to Thailand.

I know I rarely use this forum, and when I do, it's usually cap in hand, but you guys always come up trumps.

If you specifically want methylcobalamin, AFAIK you would have to import it.

You can easily get cyanocobalamin here - many locally made brands of this and any large pharmacy will have it.

I've been getting my genuine, made in Japan, methycobamin, 10 tabs to a strip, at one of the 'discount' pharmacies near Bangkok's Victory Monument. They also have the injectable vials. Fascino might have the strips, not sure. Keep asking, I'm sure a good Pharmacist will source them for you.

I'm not in Bangkok, I'm in Sriracha and access to Fascino in Pattaya. I don't want injectables. Do you have the name of the Japanese tabs, how many mgs and how much?

They are called "Methycobal 500", manufactured by Eisai Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan. There are 3x10-tab strips per box. Each one is 500 (mu gram?) and the suggested dosage is 3 pills a day, which I take. My Victory price (6th or 7th pharmacy along from the intersection) is 165 Baht per box. I think the Fascino price is 210 Baht, if I remember correctly. The price differential for almost all drugs allows me to visit Bangkok and have the Pattaya drug store pay. Good luck.

Cheers, yeah, I know about those, but I wasn't looking to take three a day. One or the odd occasion two, I've opted for these, 'cos I was given good feedback about them and they aren't very expensive, even including postage.

I just didn't know about Canadian, and certainly not British, Methycobalamin availability. Wow, those prices are outstanding! My 3 x 500 equates to your 1,500 (time release?) dosage. I'll later look into getting them delivered here when I run low. What about Thai Customs? Cheers.

Received my tablets the other day, a year's supply for less than 17 pounds.

Methycobal 500 would be around 106 pounds for the same dosage.

The other plus side is, it's only one a day, not three.

When my supply gets down that's what I'll do too. Time release tabs will be a real plus. Thanks.
