I keep reading the value of the baht is descending but it would seem the AUS $ is descending faster. I need to transfer 200k thb over here and while not a huge difference between 25 and 27 baht, 10 or 15k THB on that sort of transaction is reasonable money. Do I wait and things get worse or bite the bullet now?

Sorry but I have never had any luck in chasing the exchange rate. Change it when you need the money, otherwise the cost to your nerves is much more than you gain or lose on the transaction

I would guess the sooner the better. Tha AU dollar is dropping like a rock and is apparently destined to hit 60c to the USD next year.

Jesus! That will be about the time I need move my 800k thai baht over for retirement extension. Haven't had a break with the baht since I been here. Was 33 baht to the dollar first time I came here

There have been several financial news articles just in recent days here. I am in Aust now but am no finance guru. Try googling Aust news. Looks grim.
