can any one suggest a doctor and a government hospital for a hemorrhoidectomy.

i have gotten two estimates 50,000 to 60,000 and 80,000 to 100,000 baht from two hospitals.

it is an external hemorrhoid and should not be a complicated surgery. i have no pain or discomfort. i only know it is there when i go to the bathroom(toilet).

i live in the on-nut area.

Dr. Chucheep Sahakitrungruang at Chulalongkhorn. He is one of the best colorectal surgeons in Thailand.

Try their after hours clinic (clinic nawk wela) 13 th floor from about 4 PM. No guarantee he works there (he is definitely at Chula but not all the Chula docs see patients at the after hours clinic.)

Lacking that he is also at Bangkok Christian Hospital which is a non profit. Will still cost more than a government hospital but less than a for profit there.
