BANGKOK:— The slide in Thailand's exports continued in August, when the shipment value fell by 6.69 per cent from the same period last year.

Given the present autocratic unelected ex-military ruler and his lack of confidence building policies, the slide will continue despite the bahts performance.

Imports declining was a predictable outcome.

But as long as the Supreme Ruler and his brown nose brigade can swan around the UN and NYC in palatial oblivion, everything is fine.

If you truly want to bring happiness to the people, hold democratic elections, free of your Friday brainwashing broadcast.

Plunging imports indicates domestic consumption will not support economic growth. If tourism falters during 2015Q4, the annual growth rate will fall be low 2.5% and trigger inflation. Prayut will then have achieved a sustainable economic depression.

China is always around the corner to "help" if required...

Anyway nowadays there is no country without problems.

The thing with China is that every time they "help" you they own another piece of you.

The Thai people and their politicians proved in 2013 and 2014 they are not intelligent enough for democratic elections.

That is why we had to have a coup, because the two main Thai political parties thought that "democracy" meant shooting each other and shooting Grenades from M-79 Grenade launchers into children playing which was in Thai terms a 'expression of their political views"

I said then, and I will say it now again, no matter who caused the violence that activity proved that Thais and the politicians they supported proved that those type of people do not have he maturity to have a 'democracy".

Unfortunately, those same failed Thai "politicians" will still be allowed to campaign in any future "democratic" elections in Thailand.

And more people will then have to die until we all understand that Thai "politicians" and there "political parties" are not mature enough to handle "democracy" in Thailand.

As for "economic problems" the slowdown of exports to China, one of Thailand's main export customers, is due to the fact that the Chinese economy has and it's supposed "growth" has been deliberately faked by the Chinese government in order to maintain the myth of growth to maintain the governments continued surpression of freedoms in China to keep the Chinese population quiet, so the Chinese can maintain control over them.

Now however, the truth can't be hidden any longer, and the real lackluster performance of the Chinese economy is causing a slowdown in all of Southeast Asia.

Thai people have 2 arms and two legs just like anyone else. The only reason bombs have been going off is a few very fat lazy people are reclining on their heads, with such comfort blankets as "They are incapable...."

Life a knife through butter really.
