Vientiane Thai Visa

Can anyone share with me the standard procedure for getting a double entry tourist visa in Vientiane for an American passport holder ? I cannot seem to find it here . Seemed odd . Can it be done in 1 day ? Where is the Consulate ? Not at the Thai embassy , right ? I think the basics should be posted here but I don't see it . ( probably my incompetence ) What is the cost ? Cost of transport (general ) Help ---

Nothing "special" about holding an American passport.

Travel to Vientiane with one of the visa companies they will provide assistance.

No one day service. Apply day one,Collect visa/passport day 2 during the working week.

There is info here in Thai but there is a map in English on the page for the consular section. Google translate works pretty good on he page. http://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/en/consular/visa.php

You apply the morning of one day by 11:30 am and pick up your passport the next afternoon.
