Road Washed Away In Koh Chang

Large part of the road at a road bridge was washed away due to heavy rain, hence cutting cars going to Klong Proa and Kai Bae, leaving a meter gap where bikes can pass. Electrics went off for 4hrs, as electric poles were washed down clifs with mud slides. Reports from some resorts are that frangs are checking out as this storm to east of Thailand is expected to last till Monday.

When I was there 10 days ago we had rain non-stop for a whole day, this made several landslides occur, starting at Kai Bae and as far as Lonely Beach, the roads were the most dangerous I've ever driven on, including Koh Pang-gan, there was BIG stones rolling across the road on a bed of red clay muck, when will this get noticed by the right people?? Or is it not important to the people??

Nikkijah you totally right and its been rain more and it has not stoped, more parts of the roads around the island is washing off too.......Local authority don't seem to mind the safty of thier visiting tourists as long as their bank accounts are safe..... and the fat cats are getting fatter.....
