Report Thailand to Verify 700,000 Foreigner-Registered Phone Numbers for Mobile Banking Use
The problem with that silly approach is that you won't know if they haven't contacted you because (a) your registration is fine and your name match is confirmed or (b) they haven't gotten around to it yet or have screwed up the notification. I've heard nothing from my banks and I know that my SIM card is properly registered in my name. No need for me to worry, says the guy. And yet, there's a lingering suspicion that their name matching exercise could go wrong, especially with foreigners and complications like middle names. Now I'm in Thailand and could fix whatever needs fixing with relative easy, what worries me is that they might have another go at it will I'm abroad and unlikely to be able to visit my bank at a moment's notice. -

growing food
I won't be here too much longer but i did plant Jackfruit, Rose Apple, Mango, Chilis, Eggplant (small), Long Beans, Bananas, Passionfruit and others planted which didn't survive. I'm in Isaan, Sisaket province. The Mangoes have come out 2 times, last year none, this year pretty good. First year having Jackfruit, 4 trees bearing fruit. Rose Apples out for the third year, usually stolen by local kids. Chilis are for ex wives mom, as I rarely use them. The Eggplants came out but just a few. I always like having food grown by myself and will continue this when we move back to Texas, especially the fruit trees. You have a good chance to grow strawberries if you're far up north, along with all the others and more, and a possibility of Apples, which need colder weather. -

America has emerged....as an international laughingstock
At pretty much everything, at life, in real estate, made billions of Dollars, in show business, had a top rated TV show, in politics, became president of the USA, twice. How about you, what have you won in? Maybe list your accomplishments in this thread.- 1
