I would normally just phone and ask but it's evening time and they're closed now (trying to plan now)..

My new British passport is ready to be collected (much sooner than I expected) and I may be in Bangkok on Friday as it happens. The problem is I've just found out Friday 23rd is Chulalungkorn day and it is a Thai holiday.

Does anyone know if that means a holiday for the passport staff at the Trendy office building?

Not to worry if nobody can confirm tonight as I can phone tomorrow.

Finding out tonight would just be a bonus as I can get plans in place then :-)

The Banks and all Government offices will also be closed.

OP - wouldn't bank on them being open on Tuesday 27th (last day of Buddhist Lent) either. Not an official holiday according to my Thai calendar, but one can never tell with the With-It Tower Mob!
