Cessation of i-Talk service

Featured Replies

I recently bought an i-Talk (ThaiTelephone.com) card which I have been using to make overseas calls, but this time it seemed to seize up after 17 bahts worth of the 100 baht card. I live almost next door to their head office so called round to see what was happening. I was told that you could no longer make outgoing calls on this card. So I enquired if I could be be refunded for the unused payment. Yes, an arrangement has been made wherever I bought the card. I did not believe this, and it was confirmed today by the retailer -- no refunds -- just too bad. What upset me was when you ring the number you often get two words in English: "Good Bye" !!

So a warning to all.
