How Long Should We Wait?

After weeks of planning i have sent all my docs to my gf so she can now apply for her uk tourist visa! BIG THANKS to all that helped with my questions along the way!

She should recieve it all in the post in a few days and can then go to the embassy and submit it.

One last thing, how long will it take? she is due to fly on the 5th of november, have we left it too late?

fingers crossed it should all be good shes extremely well travelled and all the paper work is spot on now so lets hope luck is on our side!!

It's not necessarily too late, but might be.

If your girlfriend's application passes muster, it is feasible that she will be granted the visa without an interview, in which case she could have only to wait 4-5 working days from the date of application. However, if the visa officer wishes to interview her, she will have to wait for the first available interview date which will depend upon how busy they are at the moment.
