She doesn't need her birth certificate.

Payment must be made by bankers draft. This can be purchased at the application centre. No need for your bank details, just take the cash.

When you go into the visa centre your g/f will be issued with a numbered ticket. She will be called up to the cashier booth first where she will get the bankers draft. By the time all the fees were paid it was nearly 4500 bats so make sure she has enough cash. Then she will be called up to hand in her application. The person behind the counter will only be checking all the documentation is present before passing it up the line.

My g/f produced some sort of birth certificate the day before the application, I told her it wasn’t necessary and not to bother with it. Then one of the helpful/annoying agency staff from the agency next door told her she needed it. She was already worried and this just made things worse so I took a motorbike taxi back to the hotel and got it. Pretty sure it was a complete waste of time but it didn’t do any harm.

Best of luck
