New Zealand resident complains about his former girlfriend and accuses her of stealing a camera and cash from his Condo.

Police Captain Chirawat from the Tourist Police Walking Street Mobile Unit accompanied Mr. Dorian Williams aged 36 from Auckland in New Zealand and Khun Oofar aged 24 to Pattaya Police Station in the early hours of Thursday Morning to allow senior officers to process a case of suspected theft.

Mr. Williams’s initial complaint to the Tourist Police stated that he had met Khun Oofar two weeks ago at a Go-go bar just off Walking Street. The pair became close to the extent of Mr. Williams leaving Khun Oofar in his View Talay Condo alone. The relationship came to an abrupt end when Mr. Williams accused Khun Oofar of stealing money and a camera, accusations she initially denied.

It must be noted that Mr. Williams did not have a safe in his room and kept items of value in easily accessible areas. Mr. Williams made a complaint of the alleged theft to the Tourist Police who located the suspect who had already returned to work at the go-go bar. Her locker was inspected and a digital camera was found which matched the description of the one that had been stolen. There was also an amount of money totaling 1,200 New Zealand Dollars and 300 US Dollar which were not found.

At Pattaya Police Station Khun Oofar was charged with theft and locked up. We suggest to you to ensure that all valuables are safely stored away in your home especially if you often invite people into your home who you may have only known for a short time.
