darwinsmonkey Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 I'm scheduled to to scuba diving (first time) in Pattaya, from Oct. 24th-30th. Is this a good idea with the weather or not? Advice from anyone with exp. at this time of year would be appreciated.
jdinasia Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 the diving isn't great around there .... BUT year round you willmostly have some visibility ....

Basil B Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 (edited) I do not think there is that much difference all year round. I dive October and April, there is little difference normally the water temperature is 30 + 2 degrees C, and the visibility was better the week before I arrived, so I am always told. There are 2 wreaks, (maybe 3 now as reported a few weeks ago) one off the far island, Koh Phai and the other down at Samae San. I have taken plenty of photos which are available to view on my website just to wet your apatite. Anyway DS have a great time. BB Edited October 5, 2006 by Basil B
