Agreed, Insight. With only 11 weeks to go I think most folks have made their plans, or will very shortly. Good point about availabilty of seating on flights around the holidays. They book up early.

Also, with only 11 weeks to go if TV is interested in hiring a DJ for their Xmas party they might be hard pressed finding one this late. I haven't had any offers yet. Yet, mind you. But I fully expect an overwhelming amount of enquiries to be pouring in shortly.

I tried booking some flights to Thailand weeks ago, all the good value seats have long gone. I can't make it till next April!!!

It will be our little mans first Xmas, and he will be spoilt with toys, like a motocross bike, and a radio controlled aeroplane and maybe a radio controlled car, but of course he is too young to play with these yet so i will look after them for him till hes a bit older

I'll take him on a ride on one of Santa's elephants. I'm personal friends with some of Santa's helpers and they've told me they could get me and lil' Joe in.

eah.. Reminds me of I think it was in 2001. I was in LOS, Happily running my resort (before the beach got crowded) and reading week old bangkok posts people would sometimes bring, and there was a report of a paper just before valentines day (which I read in March) saying how thousands of roses being produced up north somewhere were not going to be ready in time for valentine's day...

(my mum playing that john denver & the muppets sing christmas carols record over and over and over again is enough to drive any man to booze. It was from my birthyear and my mum thought it important. Sadly, but also very happily, this year it looks like I'll be spending the first christmas since.... 98?...99? with them.... )

I was going to go home to Edinburgh for Xmas but found out that the price of flights were doubled over that period. So I am actually going in November and am really looking forward to seeing my mum and sister. So I may have a christmas party at my house here in Swissland or perhaps go to a nice restaurant. The Swiss actually celebrate Xmas on the 24th so for us it is a double party
