Abducted former Hells Angels member Wayne Rodney Schneider found dead

"His body was found buried 2 meters deep under the ground at a roadside bush.."

How could they find him then, buried 2 metes deep at a random spot?

Perhaps further details will reveal this.

Seems pretty clear to me from what in the article, the van had a GPS tracker in it not unlike the one in my motorbike. The rental company looked up the location history of the van which included a 2 hour stop at a random secluded roadside area. Police went there and discovered freshly dug up soil. What's so hard to understand??

How did they stumble on the bodies?,you very rarely get anywhere

near the full stories,on news reports here.

"How did they stumble on the bodies?"

Even if it was off the beaten path, a bunch of people digging a two metre deep hole and then filling it back in again would take some time and almost certainly be observed by someone.

"very rarely get anywhere near the full stories,on news reports here"

Fortunately an absence of facts rarely impedes the production of speculative assumptions here at TV.

You two are a couple of geniuses. Do you speak RP, 555?

From the news article:

He was kidnapped by five masked men driving in a pick-up truck.

The kidnappers rented the pickup truck and didn't know (or didn't care) that it had a GPS tracking system.

No great loss to society, now lets move on, next please.

Wow, I love the sense of biased judgment from so many Thai Visa members, and their total lack of compassion.

You have no idea of this person's background or story, nor who he has left behind...

Let's hope that no people in unfortunate circumstances cross your path, EVER!

Earlier Pol Col Sukthat Pumpunmuang, told ABC that Schneider . . . has a long criminal history dating back at least 10 years

Hard not to be a little unsympathetic with this kind of track record. I doubt the victims of his lengthy crime record will be shedding many tears, either.

... yet gives you much to snipe on down there in your centre of Thai culture ... Pattaya!

In this day and age, it is challenging to do things without being noticed. Sure people may not stop and ask what is going on, but later they will make an inquiry. A couple of guys digging a ditch at night or the day will be seen by somebody. A homeless person sitting under a tree on a nearby hill, some youngsters out fooling around, etc. Motorists driving by and then in the rear view mirror see something.

That road looks quite secluded, at night there would only be farmers going about and only rarely, but during the day there are many tour buses on that stretch of road. heck, drive five on ten minutes out into any of the branching roads in that area and there's many good spots to hide the body that wouldn't be discovered for months.

Just shows how out of town the abductors are.

Burying to hide body is almost never done in Thailand, if you can find a remote spots that people wouldn't notice you digging, it's far easier to get a couple of old tyres, a can of petrol and set the body on fire atop the tyres, by the time the charred remains get discovered, you'll be long gone and the body free of forensic evidence

Hells Angels are very cool motorcycle lovers with plenty of ethics and morale.

It is shameful to read the reactions here.

This is a not only a tragic event, but this time, it was obviously planned, so the worst case of murder.

You, my friend, are living in cloud cuckoo land.

Read the whole story, they state the pickup truck was fitted with a GPS Tracking system. Simple enough..

"Former HELLS ANGLES member Wayne Rodney Schneider found dead".

What is a Hells Angle?

This organization is composed of members that live rather obtuse lifestyles that often end acutely. Thanks for the post. Someone is paying attention!

Angle..

I wonder as to motive. Is it possible that Mr Schneider was an active anti-Islamist.

5 men in black sounds like Isis to me .. just saying.

Reckon that, so far, this comment takes the biscuitblink.png

More contenders to come, I'm sure!!

If you read the report it says: rented pick up with gps tracking led them to the spot ( gps is accurate to 1 metre) + tyre tracks etc. - or are you being sarcastic ?!

Normally rental car companies have a GPS receiver in the car so they can be tracked via Google Map.

These geniuses rented a van equipped with GPS, bungled the abduction which was observed by security guards, left evidence lying around which seems to have identified the leader of the killer gang, toiled to dig a very deep grave which the cops found within hours and generally turned the whole thing into a farce.

I wonder what their escape plan is, hightail it to the Cambodian border?

Not like you Worgeordie sir, a bit early in the morning before the old Earl Gray has been fully digested was it?

a) One body,

B) GPS.

Cheers, I like most of your posts, but could not resist a little gentle humour.

PS Without actually being acquainted with the gentleman found in the said ole, I think I can unequivocally state that it was probably a jolly good thing for Jontiem/Pattaya that he met his end thus. Now just catch the little rascal's wot dun it and clean-up a bit.

NB Those GPS's are just the dogs bullocks (Thai version) aren't they.
