Siamwhiteelephant
"His body was found buried 2 meters deep under the ground at a roadside bush.." How could they find him then, buried 2 metes deep at a random spot? Perhaps further details will reveal this. If you read the whole article, it gives the answer to your question: “… police could locate the pickup truck which the kidnappers rented from a car rental shop on Pattaya Sai 3 road fixed with GPS tracking system. Checking of the vehicles GPS position showed it stopped at Phra Tamnak hill” and in the other article here: ”Police used a GPS tracker fitted to the Black Toyota Vigo pick-up used in the abduction …”

How could they find him then, buried 2 metes deep at a random spot? Perhaps further details will reveal this. It says in the article that they used the tracking data from the rental car. It showed that the car had stopped for 2 hours at the location, the police went to the location, found the tire tracks leading into the bush and saw freshly disturbed soil. It was not a random find. Quite a lot of scum operating in the LOS, not all of whom are farangs and some of whom are highly placed in society. There are quite a few Lebanese bikie gangs in Australia now, and have been for the last 15 years. The killer was invited to stay with the deceased so they are more than just mates. As other posters have noted, the Australian Federal Police will know the motive and have almost certainly been helping the Thai police.

Lopchan
Wow 11 pages (probably whittle it down to 6 or 7 if we removed all the references to Worgeodie's post) Amazing how many armchair / keyboard warriors (should that read Khi-bored - worriers?) denounce the deceased and outlaw MC clubs here. Yet, the truth be known, they've probably rubbed shoulders with members of the clubs or frequented their establishments without knowing. This would be especially true of the denizens of massage parlours, brothels and gogo bars....oh I'm sorry the TV crew are so morally upright they'd NEVER frequent THOSE sorts of places now would they? Especially as prostitution is illegal making patronage a criminal act in itself. it is only the degree of criminality which changes. Let ye who is without sin cast the first empty beer glass you bunch of hypocrites R.I.P. Mr Scneider.
ALFREDO
its all in the degrees? 2mtr down thats alot of work on the side of the road? How did they stumble on the bodies?,you very rarely get anywhere near the full stories,on news reports here. regards worgeordie "How did they stumble on the bodies?" Even if it was off the beaten path, a bunch of people digging a two metre deep hole and then filling it back in again would take some time and almost certainly be observed by someone. "very rarely get anywhere near the full stories,on news reports here" Fortunately an absence of facts rarely impedes the production of speculative assumptions here at TV. How they got to the body = new technical possibilities = do you not read all? "police could locate the pickup truck which the kidnappers rented from a CAR RENTAL shop on Pattaya Sai 3 road fixed with GPS tracking system. Checking of the vehicles GPS position showed it stopped at Phra Tamnak hill in South Pattaya, and last position was at the road to Khao Cheechan hill where it stopped at 7.00 am on Monday morning for two hours before moving out. Pattaya police chief Pol Col Sukthat Pumpunmuang said the team of police went to the location and found tyre tracks of the pickup truck driving 100 metres off the road into the roadside bush." Yahooka
There are constant roadworks at Khao chee chan a stonethrow from the Chinese temple. Lot's of small diggers and the like. Perhaps the hole was ready and then filled manually. A few questions to the minidigger drivers may come up trumps. Doubtful, my understanding was the GPS said they were at that site for 2 hrs. Doesn't take 2 hours to fill a hole, they should have dug it before hand. " A lot of holes in the desert, and a lot of problems are buried in those holes. But you gotta do it right. I mean, you gotta have the hole already dug before you show up with a package in the trunk. Otherwise, you're talking about a half-hour to forty-five minutes worth of digging. And who knows who's gonna come along in that time Pretty soon, you gotta dig a few more holes. You could be there all f***in' night." gemguy
Ahhh...The thug life ...Or the life of a thug. Either way they never fail to entertain us. More than likely, in many ways, he was a "good guy"..as they say However, being a member of a criminal organization is well known to have its liabilities and it seems he ran into the worst of those liabilities. Being a gang member is sort of like..... "Until death do us part." RIP Cheers

Nicky Santoro "Casino" Or...they could have or should have dumped the body in the ocean........ way out there in the ocean......the shark bait ocean that is. Of course that would have been more elaborate needing a good plan and well executed ...but ......less chance of a body turning up. I know....because....I watch some of those crime drama shows and the movies and documentaries about the Mafia and all those nefarious criminal gangs and their sinister practices....lol They do what they do as if they are thinking: "This is personal business matters and no one else's concern so do not interfere with our business matters" But murder?.....Well now......that would be everyone's concern and nothing at all private about it. I hope we see the low life thugs arrested and beaten senseless and then thrown in Prison to rot for the worst of all crimes....but...you know what????...here in Thailand people receive harsher penalties and longer prison terms for being a drug user...so ...I am not keeping my fingers crossed hoping that the killers / murders will be penalized in any meaningful way.
