"His body was found buried 2 meters deep under the ground at a roadside bush.."

How could they find him then, buried 2 metes deep at a random spot?

Perhaps further details will reveal this.

It´s in the news if you know how to read.

The guys who took him were amateurs and police will catch them very soon.

This is one time I will admit that it was good police work uncovering the body. But a little voice in me says that someone may have tipped them off as to where the body is.

They want to protect that person but who knows

Well, they used the info in the GPS and went directly to the site.

Which is a good example of why never to have your GPS set to show "HOME". Someone steals your keys and car, and they'll be at your home before you are!

How did they stumble on the bodies?,you very rarely get anywhere

near the full stories,on news reports here.

It's pretty clear in the article,, they tracked the truck by it's GPS. saw that it sat in a remote spot for 2 hours, then left,, they went to the spot it was parked, saw tire track leading off the road, followed them, found freshly disturbed ground resembling a grave, and started digging,, I actually have to commend the BIB for this,,

No great loss to society, now lets move on, next please.

Wow, I love the sense of biased judgment from so many Thai Visa members, and their total lack of compassion.

You have no idea of this person's background or story, nor who he has left behind...

Let's hope that no people in unfortunate circumstances cross your path, EVER!

We have a lot of knowledge about the man`s background, only have to Google it.

Put it this way, these are not the type of people you would want to be associated with.

The rented truck had a GPS tracker installed, the RTP could follow the history of the path where they had gone.

Pattaya police at the shallow grave in which Australian national Wayne Schneider’s body was found early Wednesday morning.

PATTAYA — A missing former member of the Australian Hells Angels motorcycle gang was found buried early this morning.

Pattaya police found the naked body of 38-year-old Wayne Schneider buried one-meter deep in the jungle 100 meters away from a Sattahip district road just after midnight. The ex-biker, who also owned a fitness business in Australia, was last seen in the early hours of Monday being beaten unconscious and abducted, and police suspect the involvement of an Australian gang.

“Police used a GPS tracker fitted to the Black Toyota Vigo pick-up used in the abduction . . . A Police team went to the area as indicated by the GPS signal and found a recently disturbed piece of soil and after 1 hour of digging, the naked body of a man thought to be that of Mr. Wayne Schneider aged 38, was recovered.”

The news article says how, up to the point of locating where the pickup stopped. A quick search for recently disturbed soil could easily have been the means of pinpointing the location. Digging down a few inches I think shows a different soil compactness and appearance, compared to soil untouched for many years. A grid of shallow digging points over a sensible best guess area won't take long to complete.

All seems quite feasible.

Although one is supposed to feel sorry for those who have died (this is what makes us human, above those who have no empathy) , in this case I can only think of one thing, if one lives my the sword one will surely die by the sword.

These people are very dangerous men, the fact that they have been so visible in this murder makes me feel that they are thumbing their nose at the Thai police and justice system. A "Catch me if you can" attitude. This is going to be interesting, lets see how good the local fuzz really are.

To put a different angle on this, Australian Bikkie tongue.pnggangs are thought to be well established in Thailand and coordinate with Thai MC gangs and encourage them to join. This in order to facilitate ICE (Yabaa) into Australia using local talent to take the risks. This all sounds like a bit of a turf war.

<deleted> people ! The ORIGINAL post made NO mention of how the body was found.

People asked the question.

Afterwards the original post was updated with the information.

Very true.

Original post made no mention nor did it acknowledge subsequent edit.

Accepted. Did not stop posters jumping to conclusions.

for those who cant figure out how they found him ............................try READING the whole story .

They traced the GPS in the hire car ....................................why would the car stop for 2 hrs in the middle of nowhere ( as stated in the report). Then find fresh tracks that lead off the main road .......not really hard to figure out ------sherlock !!

...anyway, I was down near Pattaya earlier today. I noticed on the grassy verge a group of gentlemen acting in a bizarre manner. They were all wearing deer-stalkers, brandishing magnifying-glasses, and puffing away earnestly on meerschaum pipes.

It could only be:

Now there is a story of good policing. The chief in Pattaya should have been in charge of the Koh Tao case instead - would have saved a lot of embarrassing exposure of the Thai police ineptitude and the absurdity of the criminal justice system in Thailand. Well done Pattaya police.

It's all in the article. Very good police work, I'd say:

Chonburi police commander Pol Maj Gen Ampol Buarapporn said this morning that the police could locate the pickup truck which the kidnappers rented from a car rental shop on Pattaya Sai 3 road fixed with GPS tracking system.

Checking of the vehicle’s GPS position showed it stopped at Phra Tamnak hill in South Pattaya, and last position was at the road to Khao Cheechan hill where it stopped at 7.00 am on Monday morning for two hours before moving out.

Pattaya police chief Pol Col Sukthat Pumpunmuang said the team of police went to the location and found tyre tracks of the pickup truck driving 100 metres off the road into the roadside bush.

They searched the area and found the burial ground where there were fresh traces of soils being dug out.

The team dug the place and found his naked and tatooed body buried two metres deep under the ground.

Hells Angels are very cool motorcycle lovers with plenty of ethics and morale.

It is shameful to read the reactions here.

This is a not only a tragic event, but this time, it was obviously planned, so the worst case of murder.

Start your sentence with Some Hells Angels........ and most would agree. Its a proven fact, in courts of law, that so many are involved in crime

and a lot finish up in Thailand, especially Patts.

The CCTV cameras were not working, there's a surprise is there any that do ?

There are constant roadworks at Khao chee chan a stonethrow from the Chinese temple. Lot's of small diggers and the like. Perhaps the hole was ready and then filled manually.

A few questions to the minidigger drivers may come up trumps.
