I'm looking for an accupuncturist in Bangkok or Pattaya.

My father recently had accupuncture as he wanted to cut back on his drinking (not an alchoholic).

He had previously had accupuncture to stop smoking - it cured him of his addiction instantly.

I would like to stop drinking as I have pre-diabetes.

So - can I find someone in Bangkok/Pattaya to do this for me. I know it doesn't work for everyone but it's only a small prick.

I have been happy with the acupuncture department at Hua Chiew hospital, Bangkok – 02.223.1111. I have no English address for them. There are two buildings and you want the building that is next to Bobai market. Asking the taxi for Hua Chiew Bobai is better for some of them. Go into reception, register and they will then send you to the third floor. Very easy. They speak some English.

I noticed there is a new Chinese style spa in Thonglor Soi 25, they have acupunture there, but not sure what type of treatments they do, Cha Spa (02-381-7000)

I can't remember, I didn't take in the menu there, they seemed to have alot of choice and you can buy packages also. I think they only have the 1 acupuncturist at the moment. Plus they have discounts for first timers..

I can highly recommend Storm Walker, (English): 0-2539 5422. Bit complicated getting there - via MRT to Huey Kwang and then a taxi/bike, but Storm will guide the taxi driver if you carry a mobile.
