Frighteningly inept......."it's routine for us.."....and of course the next step would be?.....Duh!

He's like Obama, calling them tourists.

Police Investigate Source of ISIS Memo Leak

a job for the Inactive Post Brigade

So how many of these normal Syrian "tourists" coming to Thailand in any given year? I am surprised if it's true if Thailand gets significant numbers of Syrian tourists in recent years anyway.

If Russians, French, and British bombs the sh1t out of your hometown wouldn't your first idea also be: OK, now we go for a holiday in Thailand?whistling.gif

I guess they will never go and search for the missing Syrians. Remember, it took the glorious force more than 100 cops to arrest three Koreans in a hotel room running an online gambling...

They may as well outsource the job to the recently more successful Cambodian police.

So typical of Thailand. It is far more important to find out who leaked the memo than putting ALL efforts into finding the terrorists.

"...it’s routine for us..."

...and that is the danger, that it is treated routinely...zero sense of urgency.

Yes, I am sure that it is very important to find out who is behind this provocation!

What does of Erawan Shrine have to do with leaked a memo?

Terrorism!

Did you actually read the lead story, the photo shown had absolutely nothing to do with the subject matter - completely out of place and useless.

"Honey I have making suicide bomb vests all year! I need a vacation!"

"ok, lets go to Thailand."

'“I’m afraid that people may panic ...' Or that they might start asking awkward questions

'... but in fact, it’s routine for us,” Chakthip said. “It’s usual for Syrians to travel here for tourism.”' Isis tourists, eh? Now we know why the TAT is so optimistic over tourist numbers - everyone's a tourist.

Nothing to do with the article, except for it being on the page: 'Sheh Fung Screws Expert'. Someone might want to do a better job of ad copy editing ... or perhaps not.

Not the first time and not the last time. All members of TVF must know this by now.

Might not be easy to find the right whistle blower cheesy.gif

Can anyone keep a secret in Thailand?
