Anyone using the TMN (Thipmanee) Digital Box?

I see TMN has a Digital box available for 500 baht that allows you to watch around 100 channels. The price of their service is the same, around 300 baht a month, so you just pay a one time fee for the box. Haven't been able to get much other info, anyone tried it?

No need to buy the box if you have a modern TV with a digital tuner. I have a Sony TV about 5 years old, and it has analogue and digital tuner. In your TV, just go to setup digital tuner/channels, and run auto-tune option. I get 104 digital channels on TMN, many are repeated on the analogue channels.

My Panasonic 42 inch LCD is only 3 years old and I actually did an auto tune for TMN yesterday, but I get about 80 channels, not 104.

Just ran my TV through auto-tune and have 78 channels. I think. Channels 77 & 78 seem to be the same (Russian) program ATM, but maybe they show different things at different times?

No clue if the TV has a digital tuner, though. Since it was manufactured in Aug 2009, probably not? It's a Samsung LA26B250C4.

TMN now charge 1500 TBH for their Digital Tuner Box, but other Tuner Boxes available @ Tukcom for 700 - 900 TBH

Does anyone know if other brands are compatible with TMN TV
