Does anybody know of any morning markets in the area south of the night bazaar or down Chang Klan Rd area? Just a few stalls selling fruit and veg, fresh noodles, maybe a bit of fish. I can't believe every resident hikes up to Warorot for these, but I know such markets are often hidden away down alleyways.

Closest to you is probably Nong Hoi market on route 106 just down from the Holiday Inn, or the market at Chiang Mai gate.

When I was living in the Galae Thong condo, I use to go to the Tuesday afternoon market directly across the road down a soi that leads to the Holiday Inn.

Good fresh produce at good prices. Not too sure if its still running and never found anywhere in that area that does morning markets.
