Canon - Warranty

Featured Replies

Hi can anyone advise how long Canon's warranty is on DSLRs purchased in Thailand from an approved dealer? Many thx.

I believe it's 3 years. Correct if I'm wrong but some time back I had a problem with, what was then, a two year old 5D2 and Canon Bangkok repaired it FOC, ( under warranty)

Might be worth contacting the BKK service centre for clarification.

Hope this helps

My understanding it was one year, but may depend on model..... ?

Beaware it could take several months to get it back. sad.png although Canon is better than some! Sony took six months, the reason I would not buy another Sony camera here!

It should say on the warranty card ... good idea to fill in and send off....

I could not tell you about Cannon but Nikon Thailand is 12 months with 50% off maintenance repairs for a full warranty

Canon Thailand gives 2 years on cameras and lenses, when registered online. After warranty, they do repairs, charging only for parts, on equipment previously warrantied by them.

I've been more than pleased with Canon Thailand service.
