My last year's vote did little, despite a huge social networking plan. However, I hope the voting is fair and the candidates refrain from stooping as low as we know they can! Transam got mine!

JT FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!!

Put a V8 into a beaten up old Morris 1000 van once, left it looking tatty, a wolf in sheep's clothing, should have seen the face on the lads when they were left standing at the lights!!biggrin.png

Only give away was the twin tail pipes and fat tyres.

As for who is Villagefarang, yes I do post some pictures but I also start topics in various forums from time to time. Here are a few links to topics I have started.

The following is copied from my Profile Page.

I live in a house, in a field, in a valley, with a view ...

I have lived in Thailand my entire adult life. Soon after completing my studies, I moved to Bangkok. I was not sent here by military, government, god or corporation. I just bought a ticket and boarded a plane with no real plan. I had no idea what I would do or how I would stay here. Somehow it all worked out.
I have been treated well by Thais and Thailand. You will hear no horror stories from me about this place I call home. I seem to have very little in common with the average retiree these days and struggle to reconcile their vision of Thailand with mine.
After 30 years in Bangkok I moved to Chiang Rai and not long after I joined ThaiVisa.

I liked the bit you took out 'and I love every minute of it'

For the candidates who are starting to do well, remember you don't need to be first in these semifinals, just the top 5. So maybe save the BIG GUNS and most damaging smears of the opposition for the GRAND FINALE.

Do you recommendations on smear tactics JT?

Something that will work, or not?

Academically speaking, of course

I am thinking the voting list may have looked better in reverse alphabetical order. There is something depressing about being on the bottom of the heap. Well, at least I am not stuck in the middle.biggrin.png

And the humility award goes to Mr. V ha ha hawai2.gifthumbsup.gifclap2.gifgiggle.gifcoffee1.gif

Should get the heroes award to. Lived 30 years in Bangkok what a hero. Of course that was then and now is now. You made a good choice in Chiang Rai my g/f comes from there. How you survived no blended in all those years would make an interesting story.

I would like to respond to your posts but that last line has me second guessing what you might be asking. While I am here I would like to thank you for including the words humility and hero in your comments, as I don’t believe those particular words have ever been used in a sentence referring to me.biggrin.png
