BANGKOK, 18 December 2015 (NNT) - Samdech Akeak Moha Sena Padey Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, paid an official visit to Thailand today with a Cambodian delegation in order to hold bilateral discussions. The Prime Minister's visit is considered an important part of celebrating the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Cambodia. This is also the first official visit to Thailand in a decade and an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Government House in honor of the visit.

During the meeting, both sides touched on the celebration activities for the anniversary of the including cooperation in developing a Special Economic Zone on the Thai and Cambodian border, labour cooperation, promoting cooperation in trade and investment, collaboration in developing agricultural products and enhancing transport connectivity and cooperation in the region.

BANGKOK, 18 December 2015 (NNT) - The Prime Minsters of Thailand and Cambodia today met for their second unofficial joint Cabinet meeting, marking 65 years of Thai-Cambodian relations.

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-Cha welcomed the Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akeak Moha Sena Padey Techo Hun Sen as the Thai government’s official guest on December 18-19 to take part in the unofficial meeting between the Cabinets of Thailand and Cambodia. The two parties are to discuss regional cooperation in order to strengthen diplomatic relations.

Mr Hun Sen led Cambodian business delegates in a meeting with members of Thailand’s private sector before dining with the Thai Cabinet.
