Chaweng SKYBAR is now open again – with exciting new promotions!

KOH SAMUI: The management team at SKYBAR are happy to announce that their grand re-opening in Chaweng was a huge success!!! The event that took place on December 7th was a fantastic evening with a LIVE-performance from Nej Jennelyn Martin and her guitarist. The good news is that she will be singing at SKYBAR every Friday from Dec-April with the exeception of Christmas and New year when she will take a well earned break.

The SkyBar offers a chillaxing environment from a long gone era in Samui. Chaweng may not seem like the kind of place where you can go back in time and enjoy what used to be the main attraction to the islands but the SkyBar is one place where you can really get away from it all, chill out and relax, enjoy bamboo and tropical plants, clever lighting and not hear any of the noise from the traffic down on the street below, or the pollution and most incredibly this bar is smack bang in the middle of Chaweng.

skybar reopening 2As well as bar seating there are some comfortable chairs for a more intimate cocktail, cold beer, a glass of wine or a G&T and taller seating around tables on the other side. From here during the daytime you have a sea view to the north, the ocean is only 150 meters away, and can indulge in a spot of people watching to the south around the markets.

The SKYBAR can be found where the one way system in Chaweng becomes two-way. Travelling in the same direction of the one way traffic simply take a right turn when it becomes two way, towards the walking street market and it’s on your right hand side, alternatively you can take the last turning on the right before the traffic meets and it will be on your left.

The SKYBAR is open everyday from 6pm until late. (Sundays from 2pm)
