I'm talking more about pick up trucks than cars but the cars are pretty good too. Many Thais buy their trucks to use them like a truck rather than just drive them as we do. These trucks are abused in every possible way and still keep going. I think we should buy what we like and not worry what is the best one because they are all VERY good.

I live up country and the market leaders here are Isuzu and Nissan by a large margin. I do see a surprising trend. It appears that Toyota has done a lot of things right because I see a lot of new Vigos here. The most surprising is the number of new Fords. I'd say that at least in this area that Isuzu and Chevy are being left in the dust. I see more new Tritons than Chevy trucks and Mitsubishi has never been popular up here.

The two big questions here are, how far can I go on a liter of diesel and how much can I overload the truck. I don't know how much you can overload a truck but since I see a lot of back axles broken off it must be a lot. :o

Id agree with what you say there Gary except the part where you say Isuzu is one of the market leaders, and then in the next xentence say Isuzu and Chevy are being left in the dust!

Here in Bangkok, Its all Toyota and Mitsu. Havent seen a new Isuzu on the road for a while.

I didn't explain myself very well. Up here where I live there are more Isuzus and Nissans on the road than any other brand. That is changing and NOW I am seeing more NEW Toyotas and Fords than any of the others. Isuzu is losing market share. It appears that Chevrolet is having a hard time penetrating this market. Mitsubishi is doing better than Chevrolet. I'm only speaking about the area where I live.
