car ownership transfer

dear fellow members i m looking for advice, i bought a car two and a half yeras ago on credit when i lived in roi et my partner s parents provided the correct info and it aws registered in their name i pay all the monthly payments , i moved down to pattaya 2 yrs ago to get a better education for my 9 year old son who has adhd, so now i m looking to transfer the car to my name , apparently i have to drive the car 630km back to roi et and deal with the local bank that ok d the money , the bank has many branches here in pattaya , but can t do it with them . i have no prob with my partners family they are fine and have their own money since winning the lottery in 2011 so no scam there , i would like some help please kind regards and a happy new year john dworecki
