Hi all.

I am looking for a right-angle plug like that shown in the picture. Technically it is an IEC 60320-C7 receptacle to NEMA 1-15P plug. Anyone have any ideas of where to find it in CM or in Thailand for that matter?

Thanks

David

You might do better asking this in the IT and tech forum HERE.

That looks like an American laptop plug adapter to me. At least that's what Laptops use, AFAIK. The converter in the line is auto sensing and so is the laptop and they can accept almost any country's power as long as the wall plug is correct. A laptop never runs off the wall power. When it's plugged into the wall that power is charging the battery only and it's still running off the battery. It's your own uninterrupted power supply. If that's for your laptop you "should be able to" use one made for Thailand.

I would start with laptop repair and sales places as they might have some from junked laptops. They are of course also available online from the USA. Here's a link to one on Amazon and if you scroll down you'll see more of them for different countries. Amazon.

Thanks Langsuan Man. Since I need 3, this might be a viable choice if they charge the same to ship 3 as they do for 1.

I'm presuming there's no internal electronics in there, so why not consider the far more common cable version, which you can buy at literally any electronics or computer shop in Thailand for under 100 baht.

clokwise, the cable version is what I am trying to replace. smile.png
