Replace 3bb router

Featured Replies

I would like to replace the route/modern with Dlink 320B modem + Asus router.

Anyone knows the nitty gritty adsl settings?

I have done this before, but was away some years.

Maybe can put current 3bb router modem in bypass and hook up the Asus rt-ac68u to the lan port of the Huawei box?

Wlan capacity of 3bb Huawei box seems a bit lame.

Also want to do some other tricks.

Thanks in advance.

The modem's automatic setup wizard should select the correct settings for you. Mine certainly did.

You will just need to know your ADSL login and password.

The adsl username and password I know.

It came with the installation note (paper)

You refer to the adsl modem wizard?

I will yograde the dsl 320b firmware.

Don't recall any wizard but maybe there was one.

Just recall a bunch of adsl2 settings.

I have a feeling most settings will work, but just a few will get maximum speed out of the line.

I finally got around to do it.

Dsl 320b + Asus rt-ac68u = works.

3bb adsl 2+

Same speed as before 10/1M (troteled back by isp) but a much better router in place.
