finding water in Korat

My friend has few rai's of land and wants to start farming it. But there is no water supply.

I'm looking for a company which specializes in finding water and drilling wells.

If you bother to google "water well drilling Isaan Thailand" then you will find a wealth of information.

There is also a government truck that comes around drilling wells. The cost is about 1/10 of what the private companies charge. Have your friend check around for their schedule in your locale.

We lived about half way between Korat U. Muang and Pak Thongchai previously. No one there would even talk about drilling wells. No water .. lots of rock. Check with the locals, not TV.
