joebrown Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 This suggests there actually are legal emission limits in Thailand. Well, we learn something every day!!
stag4 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 There will be nothing implemented. More waffle as usual. Clapped out pick up's,trucks and busses will continue to pollute Pattaya.
Fookhaht Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 This suggests there actually are legal emission limits in Thailand. Well, we learn something every day!! For over six years, in lowly Isaan, they have been checking emission levels before we can get our new license tabs for the new year. Yes, there must be a national standard. However, buses and trucks in our fair province continue to belch black smoke, unchecked--er--unenforced.
onemorechang Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I suppose its a start. But you don't need any special gadget to find the real offenders. Just get the test officers to be awake and eyes open That should do the trick.
Ulic Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 New toys for PoPo so they can collect extra tea money.
PETERTHEEATER Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 You don't need to emit black smoke to emit toxic exhaust.
Basil B Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 That should solve the problem of too many baht Buses.
emilymat Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Hope they work better than the bomb detectors.
