A fascinating case now from Soi 6 in Central Pattaya. Police were called to the front of the Ruby Bar in the center of the street by Khun Laong aged 38 who works in one of the bars.

She had earlier spotted a man who she claims had previously taken her out of the bar and back to his room, where he proceeded to steal a 1 Baht weighted gold necklace, a mobile phone and a Gold Locket from her. The suspect, Khun Jaroon aged 73 was arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station.

The initial suspected theft took place on 7th October but at this time no Police Report was made of the incident. Despite this, Khun Jaroon confessed to the theft and the pair came to a financial arrangement and the case was dropped.

As the case was dropped, I very much doubt he has any concerns about being sent to prison... :o

Obviously he considered that his superior performance at such a young age merited some sort of financial reward.......after all she did pick him up in soi 6 :o
