Forms for Laos

Featured Replies

I wonder if the following forms for entry to Laos are available for download. It would save messing around at the border.

1. Visa on arrival application form

2. Arrival form/card (I seem to recall it is an A4 sheet, but not sure)

3. Vehicle immigration form (another A4 sheet)

The Customs form for the vehicle is done by them.

I've attached a copy of the visa on arrival form I used last month.

When I handed in the VOA form the sullen Immigration Officer just handed me a landing card without saying a word, but as they're numbered I don't think you can download in advance.

My Thai partner also needed one, but you have to ask as we couldn't find them available to pick up, that doesn't mean they're not actually on display, just that we couldn't find them.

As we were dropped off at the bridge and collected by family in Laos we didn't take a car across, but this website Laos guide/border crossing suggests there is no form to fill in.

Thank you.

I went to Laos with vehicle only 2 months ago.

I am trying to remember. I think there may have been only 2 forms, the VOA form you have provided and the arrival form, which as you say are individually numbered and thus not downloadable.

The third form, which may not exist, is for the vehicle. The Laos immigration may just put this straight on to their computer using the Thai forms.
