What price does it have to be before being legal?

I bought two Win 10 Pro licenses last Sept off Ebay for Bt512 (five one two) each. Both activated fine.

They may have activated fine but they almost certainly come from resold licences obtained through something like the equivalent of the old Tech Net program.

Sale is prohibited and it has happened that when invalid licences (those resold) have been found they are deactivated.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see...5 months using the licenses now.

For anyone who wants more info on the license status of their Windows OS, just go to "Command Prompt (Admin)" and enter a couple variations of the Windows built-in command "slmgr" which stands for Software Licencing Manager. You won't affect anything...you are just viewing info on your license. Like when I run the command on my licenses it says they are a Retail version and permanently activated.

Three suggested command variations are:

slmgr /dli

slmgr /dlv

slmgr /xpr
